Both it and its parent were designed for extreme-long range shooting; as for the .375 CheyTac, it is typically loaded with a 350 or 375 grain bullet that is CNC-machined from solid copper.

Because these bullets are machined from solid copper, they exhibit extremely consistent radial symmetry that enables next-level accuracy, even at extreme ranges, greater than 1000 meters.

They also have very high BC scores and high muzzle velocities, depending on load data, usually between 2900 and 3000 FPS.

Consequently, the .375 CT shoots very flat and is minimally affected by wind draft, compared to some other bullets. This makes it an excellent cartridge for long-range shooting.

Compared to the .408 CT, the .375 may even be considered a better ELR cartridge because it shoots faster, flatter, and drops less. It doesn’t carry as much energy to the target, but for competition, that hardly matters.

Because it utilizes such low drag bullets that are so precisely machined, it delivers sub-MOA performance with rifles that are chambered for it, like the M200 Intervention, also manufactured by CheyTac.

Cartridges are expensive; usually more than $10 per round, but that’s a small price to pay for the sort of performance .375 CheyTac ammo can deliver at ranges in excess of a mile.
